Subscription Saver ("the app", "we", "us") helps you track subscriptions, free trials, return windows and warranties. We built it to be private by default: your data lives on your device and is never sold or used for advertising. This policy explains what we store and the limited cases where data leaves your phone.

1. Data stored on your device

By default everything you enter stays on your device: subscriptions, trials, returns, warranties, payment history, savings, app settings, and any receipt or logo images you add. We cannot see this data and it is not transmitted anywhere.

2. Optional account & cloud backup (Premium)

If you create an account to back up and sync your data, we store it with our cloud provider (Supabase). This includes your email address, the items above, and receipt images. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is isolated to your account so that only you can access it. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data from within the app. Free users have no account and no server-side data.

3. Purchases

Premium purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active or not) but never your payment card or full billing details.

4. Receipt scanning (OCR)

If you use the optional "scan receipt" feature, the image or PDF you choose is sent to our text-recognition provider (OCR.space) solely to extract text so we can pre-fill a form. It is processed for that purpose only, not used for advertising, and not retained by us. If you prefer, you can enter details manually instead.

We do not sell or rent your data, show third-party ads, or embed advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

7. Your choices & rights

You can edit or delete any item, delete all data on the device, and (for account holders) export your data or delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or erase your personal data; contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
